Wajih Halawa

Wajih is a native bilingual communications trainer with nearly 20 years of experience advising corporate leaders, government officials, and royalty across the Middle East and North Africa region in corporate and financial communications disciplines, along with an award-nominated career in print journalism and radio, Wajih is a multi-faceted advisor, communicator, media handler, and public speaker. His expertise spans media interviewing skills and public speaking training, leadership coaching, strategic planning, senior counsel, advocacy, and crisis management.

As a founding partner of Capital Gate Advisors, Wajih leads the Strategic Communications and Public Affairs practices, with expertise in strategic reputation and communications planning, counsel, and advocacy, as well as corporate positioning, thought leadership, and public affairs.  

Wajih was Head of External Affairs at Majid Al Futtaim Holding in Dubai in 2021-2022 and he previously spent nearly half his career at the Brunswick Group from 2010 to 2021, where he was a Partner in the firm’s Abu Dhabi office from 2018. He served as a strategic advisor for GCC government-related entities and officials, regional businesses, and multinational conglomerates, leading multi-disciplinary, cross-border account teams across a range of sectors and practices.
