Waleed AlGhamdi

Waleed began his career in ESG before the concept was widely understood globally, regionally or locally. As one of the first sustainability practitioners in the Kingdom, Waleed has worked across industries and geographies to embed ESG concepts into how organizations plan and operate. Waleed is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and he supported their plans to promote a path to net zero energy buildings by 2030. As a member of the advisory board for KFUPM’s College of Design and Built Environment and a board member of the Saudi Network for the UN Global Compact, Waleed will give you a sense of how the Kingdom is headed when it comes to its own sustainability and net zero planning.
