Tony Sheridan

Tony Sheridan learned storytelling while growing up in rural Ireland, from watching his father and grandmother hold the room at family gatherings. He first stood on stage at age 7, in a green field at a country fair. He told an old joke his father rehearsed with him. As the small crowd of adults burst into laughter, he didn't even understand why the joke was funny. However, he understood the power of storytelling: that words, with the right delivery, could grab and hold attention and make people feel something. He MCed his first show by the age of 13 and has been engaging audiences ever since, from MCing shows in community halls in the local village to hosting and chairing international conferences, and everything in between.

Tony has spent his career proving the same storytelling principles can deliver real results in business. Since 2010 he has been helping organisations build marketing and communications campaigns that cut through the noise. He spent a decade in voluntary leadership positions as chair and director for Irish mental health charities, leading national and global awareness campaigns, and became a regular contributor on national television and radio. He was recognised with national awards for managing the teams behind the best Snapchat (2018), best Instagram (2019) and best TikTok (2020) brand accounts in Ireland.

In 2021 Tony moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which he now calls home. He spent 5 years leading international campaigns and content strategy at one of the world's top research universities, KAUST. That work was recognised with 12 international awards and resulted in him being invited to speak and deliver keynotes at conferences on 4 continents and becoming a regular guest on industry podcasts.

Tony now teaches others how to tell their stories so that their audiences lean in, listen and act. He has worked with students, faculty, presidents and directors at top-ranked universities, and with chief executives, founders and government ministers, helping them apply strategic storytelling to their speeches, board presentations, personal branding and thought leadership. He has taught his frameworks in capability development workshops around the world to more than 1,500 people. He’s sure his grandmother would be proud.
